Evening all. As my schedule is even more turbulant then previously thought, I have decided to leave no plans on the blog dates and when I write it will be completely unexpected. So just keep checking back. It could be anything. I can say for sure that the "Starter Kits" are on the way and if there is any demand for a particular console starter kit, I will try my hand at that first.
This week I bring you my top 10 games that are in most need of a sequel or continuation:
1. Shenmue
2. Starfox (In the old style like Lylat Wars/Star Fox 64
3. Zack and Wiki
4. Donkey Kong (he needs a decent platforming game - Donkey Kong World needs to be released I'm not fussed whether it's 2D or 3D
5. Lost Odyssey
6. Jet Set Radio
7. Beneath A Steel Sky
8. Comix Zone
9. Power Stone (we need a third one!)
10. Guardian Heroes (fantastic 6 player Saturn game that needs a revival)
Other mentions:
- Resident Evil (Numbers 4 and 5 are not survival horror)
- Timesplitters (I know there was a sequel in the works but as we have no idea what is happening I say it makes the list at number 10)
What am I playing now?:
- Pokemon Soul Silver (A fantastic remake of gold/silver with all the 'mon thrown in for good measure. Curse the pokewalker for requiring 100,000 watts to unlock everything)
- Dead Rising (I am revisiting it and trying to complete it properly and it's even better than I remembered! If you haven't played it then do so now. If you are an old school gamer, then this is the current gen game for you. If anyone has all the achievements then I salute you)
- Skate 2 (Due to the downfall of the Tony Hawk's series, Skate is a great game once you get used to the control system and dare I say it, may actually surpass the Tony Hawks series. A review of number 2 and 3 soon to come when I get my hands on it)
This weeks silly E3 predictions:
- Shigsy will unleash his army of killer robot Reggies (Reggie Fils-Aime for those who don't know) upon the world and shall be our new overlord.
- Iwata shall demonstrate the vitality sensor and will suffer a cardiac arrest during it's use, resulting in ironic hilarity.
This weeks serious E3 predictions:
- We will get information or a glimpse of the Wii successor
- Both Sony and Microsoft will announce something BIG that no-one had anticipated.
- A new Sony handheld will be shown
This weeks unlikely E3 predictions:
- SHENMUE 3!!!!!
